Wow, I hate this car.
Wow, I hate this car.
Well a clogged cat caused some hell on my motor, that's fixed but the damage was done to the front and rear main seal. Although they aren't leaking that bad anymore (just wet around the seal no more on the ground). A day after I fix the cat I suddenly have a huge coolant leak. Everytime I go back to the car I found a nice little puddle of coolant and just last night the coolant light went on.
Everytime I fix this car, something else goes!
By the way while I was under the car, I discovered the previous owner sheared a stud for the water pump. How many parts do I have to remove to have enough room to bore out and tap for a new stud? BTW not entirely sure thats where the problem is from.

Re: Wow, I hate this car.
Where is the coolant leaking from? If it's from the block that's bad.
I think there could be enough room to tap the stud if you take the intake elbow off and maybe the fans. That should give you enough room to work with.

Re: Wow, I hate this car.
Check your hoses. I had finished my heads and cam and had a small coolant leak, I almost blew the car up! So I went under to check what it was, loose hose, but when I say loose, I mean that the clamp didn't have a king kong grip on the hose. Check that.
