Thumbs up Wow, HOTcam, ported heads, stalled auto=21.7mpg

I had to drive from my house which is a few minutes south of Nashville to Knoxville yesterday to watch a friend of mine graduate. This is the first time I've calculated my fuel mileage since I have been running the car on this combo. Mods are in the sig if you're curious. I looped around Nashville and got onto the interstate that goes Directly to Knoxville and filled up with gas. I drove on the way a hair under 80 mph. I did probably 45 minutes to an hour of city driving in Knoxville when I got there, then I drove at 75mph on the way home. I filled up again at the same place I had gotten gas before, I had gone 327 miles and used 15.07 gallons. Comes out to 21.7mpg. Also keep in mind that east Tennessee where Knoxville is isn't flat, it's getting into the mountains, so that's not as easy on gas either. At any rate, I'm very happy with it, I didn't think the car would do that well.

Nah I'm still on the stock 3.23 gears. I like being able to go over the legal speed limit in second

Nice! This weekend I drove up to LaCrosse from Milwaukee (both in Wisconsin) to see a friend graduate college as well. It's about 370 miles both way and I made it in 1 1/4 tanks. 6th gear at 80mph the whole way. BTW I have a stock tune and it does run alittle rich.!

I don't know if he listened to me or not, but I told Brian at PCMforless to lean it out as much as he could at part throttle. That may have something to do with it.

Anyone know what these cars are rated MPG wise stock? City and highway....
