WOW! Hooker LTs rock

I just got my Hooker coated long tube headers installed and removed the Edelbrock shortys from my 96 Trans am. WOW! these headers friggin rock! I love them.

I have a 383 Stroker with Comp 305 cam and More performance Stage 3 ported/cnc heads. The shortys must have been really choking my motor up bad. I tell you what, it awakened a beast. I can not believe the difference in power this car has now. I am blown away at the difference. It runs like a raped ape with these headers on and the sound is incredible with my Hooker cat back exhaust.

I am so excited, it feels like a new car. I Just had to tell someone. I can not wait to see what I run at the track in the 1/4.

LT Hooker headers rock!!!!

Glad you like it. Do you run cats, or is it directly from the LT's to the hooker exhaust. How would you describe the sound, in terms of hollow, raspy, deep, smooth, rattle...

Thanks,
Dan

Hooker LTs are the best.
The spark plug clearance alone was worth it to me.

Hey StereoManDan, No cats. Just the Hooker Y. The sound is awesome. You obviously get more exhaust smell because of this.

The plug access is an added bonus. Also, the extra space under the hood is really nice. It looks a lot better, not so crammed in there.

Hey leftoverchinese and 97z-pimp. Hang in there but get those LTs on the first chance you get. You will be glad that you did.

The true dual set up must be incredible sounding.

It is cool when you are cruising down the road and people turn around or turn there heads to see my tight ride cruising on by.
