Where IS everyone????

 

I have limited time and will be busy again. Wont everyone come out and play!?!?!?!? Start posting y`all

 

I mainly reply, i dont do all that much posting myself. Only when i have a question, that i can find the answer to in a search. Maybe more people started using the search feature. Some topics just get beaten to death.

 

Were all out racing. well at least I was. Summertime gotta love it

 

i'am new to the board, but i am very active every night for 4 or 5 hours straight, this board is a great resource and i wish i had discovered it sooner, i try to help and answer peeps quesetions whenever i can.

unfortunately, as most of you know by now, i ask alot more questions than i answer.....i hope you guys can bear with me, in fact i'd like to take this chance to thank all of you for your helpful advice and worthwhile topics.

just started a new job and another one starts Friday so....
plus I fixed just about everything so I am only here to BS

 

Yea, I guess by now everyone has fixed thier problems and know enough about there cars to do so. This board is an EXCELLENT place for knowledge using the search function. Even if you cant find it there, someone will pop up 8 times out of 10 to help.

I am stuck without a car till the weekend(?), then I will be busy as heck myself then.

Dont worry newbies, as long as you do a thurough search and not be a lazy poster, ask away. I am sure people are happy to help. Just remember, we expect you to do some homework though, first

 

It doesn't seem all that dead to me just a little slow. Wait till its either 110* everyday or in the 20's and no one wants to leave their home it gets busy like crazy in here. I've seen posts go from new to 2 or 3 pages back in a matter of 20 or 30 mins.

 

I think people have just been searching, some of the questions come up in cycles. After a while it gets irritating, especially when you yourself have replied the same to posts about the exact same thing, and you dont just want to give people the brush off by telling them to search or post properly. I'm actually surprised 8 people havnt said "This should be in lounge", sometimes they should just let it go and move on.

 

yeah its just seeing the same questions over and over again that makes its seem like you go unnoticed. guess that is really the only downfall to a message board thats been around for a while...

 

Not really a down fall. This is best board i've seen for f-bodies, tech wise. I would like to see the search feature get refined. Sometimes a search, especially in LT1 tech yeilds pages upon pages of posts on the subject. At some point do they ever delete and posts?

Trust me, all questions I have asked, I have looked up in the search for hours before making that final leap. I only ask something that sounds familiar if I have searched 4-5 hours and just cant find it, or a definitive answer to my question.




Well, I am glad it was NOT moved to the lounge cause it was a specific question to the LT1 section, not the for sale section, parts wanted section or z28 board all together.
