Question Which would be louder on a 95 LT1 Z28?

Hooker LT's with true duels, no Cats, X/H pipe, 2.5 inch pipe, dynomax bullet mufflers, and Flowmaster Scavenger Turndowns which odds are will dump before the rear axle and either be 3 or 3.5 inch size.

The other option is,

Hooker LT's with polished Y pipe (maybe offroad Y-Pipe), SLP loudmouth, no Cat, 3-4 inch pipe.

Thanks,

Chris

The duals would sound better but clearance might be a problem.

comming from someone who has had both loudmouth and true dual dynomax bullets with no cats and LTs.....the bullets are definately louder, you will get a headache from it, invest in some dynomat to line the interior with so you dont go nuts, and bending duals over the axle is no fun

Did you have turn downs or tips out the back? I'm not sure but odds are I'm not going to run my pipe over the axle since it is such a pain.

The other question is which will sound better. And IMO, Loudmouth sounds like *** when you remove the cats. I don't like the sound to begin with, but when you remove the cats, whoa. It's way too raspy for me. I would go with the true dual setup.

To me loudmouth is just a pipe with a glasspack, not worth the $300 or whatever they sell for. You could just go to a muffler shop and have a guy make you the same thing for like $75. I don't know, they just sound raspy to me. I'm not the only one that thinks so. Sorry, I'm just telling my opinion.

The loudmouth is a ripoff, but it sounds great.

The GMMG sounds awesome too.

If anyone could find the pic online, someone posted pics of a cross section of the dynomax bullet and a loudmouth "muffler" they are altmost...i stress altmost exactly the same, the bullet is more of a straight pipe sound that gets amplified to the max, while the loudmouth i believe had a tighter packed fiberglass woven packing to give it that louder reverbed (raspy) sound (lol that was for cerwin vega) basically your payin $300 so SLP can continue to anally rape us with their pricing and bad tech support lol did i just say all that? ...shame on me
