Would dilectric grease change the resistance of my msd rpm pills at all?

I got a set of pills for my window switch, but I am not comfortable with how loose they fit in the socket. I son't want to break them by trying to sprea the legs for tension. I was thinking maybe a dab of dilectric grease before I stuck them in would keep them in place a little better and also keep moisture out as a side bonus.

What do you think? I don't want any increase in resistance so the rpm limits are accurate...

How about tinning the leads with solder? That would make them a little thicker.
