Which would be better?
Which would be better?
This is really all about opinion, but I hope to hear from some people who have been down this road and can give me the benefit fo their experience.
If building a 383 LT4 with an X-trim blower, which would of course neccessitate fairly large injectors, would it be better to:
a) Use the existing engine management and add the high/low impedance converter, or;
b) Scrap the stock system and start over again with an aftermarket unit, such as a DFI, Motec or what have you.
The answer should take into account that I would like to preserve my ABS and I am willing to go to a speed/density system if that would be smarter, so I'm not wedded to the existing MAF setup.
I also intend to convert to a coil-on-cylinder setup, whichever way I go, preferably using the Opti as an optical trigger, as opposed to converting to a distributor.
Feel free to flame me as much as you like, just make sure you give me some good info too.
