Worth paying for GM additive with Torsen diff?

I just bought a used rear end out of a 01 SS. It has the Torsen diff with stock 3.42's. I know using the GM limited slip additive wont hurt anything but is it necessary? I will buy it if it will help keep things quiet, but if it wont do anything for me I will pass on it.
Let me know if I should get it or not.
Thanks
JT

I'm not sure that the additive will help. If I'm not mistaken, the additive is to help the clutches in the differential from chattering. I believe that the Torsen differential is clutchless. Not sure, though. Maybe an expert will chime in here.

The additive is not needed in the torsen because it's gear driven. It's only needed in clutch pack type diff's.
