I have seen zero evidence of power gains but it can make the car easier to work on. In the case of an electric waterpump you need to get rid of it. If you have to install a new elbow because the old one was ripped than it's convenient to get rid of it with a 1LE or similar part. I wouldn't do it just for the sake of having a "mod" though

Every little mod helps. When I got my 1le elbow I didnt notice any differenc. You can get a plug or just do it yourself.

I also believe in "every little bit helps" but you won't see much of anything with the 1LE elbow.

Yeah i don't think you see a gain from removing it. But it is a stupid long platic tube with no purpose that gets in the way. So you might as remove the thing.

No gain, just cleans the engine bay up a little and saves some weight.

Save up and invest in a Vortech Elbow. Most people buy the Trickflows...but the Vortech Elbows have a TB wall so you get straight air flowing directly into the TB ports no distractions. It's not worth removign the Silencer just a waste of time. Your gains will be mental if any.

There is no performance increase by changing the elbow. If you want to get rid of the tube just because, do it, but you won't gain anything.

plug it. it's useless and gets in the way. but if you have any tears or holes in your elbow, gut it and get the 1LE elbow. you might not feel any gain from just installing a 1LE elbow, but if youre having vacuum leaks from the stock elbow, it can help quite a bit.

It's just nice to get rid of the donkey dick. Like everyone else said, either way, you're not gonna gain much of anything.

The ladies kind of like my donkey dick. I think I'll leave it on.

I plugged with stuff laying around the house, i just did it to get it out of my way. Dont go out under any circumstance, and buy an "aftermarket plug" , big waste of money. If you want it removed, plug it yourself, or buy a diff elbow.
