My mech. will be receiving my new shortblock, with 4-bolt main tomorrow. Found one on the I-net for 1750.00 including shipping.

Anyway, just curious if the current block with only 8K on it will be worth anything. Of course I realize I don't even know what went wrong yet, so the condition is not really known. But how bad could it be with so few easy miles.

Just curious, because if it isn't going to be worth much, I would rather just leave it at the shop, since I have no way to shlepp it around or any place to store it.
