Is it worth....
Is it worth....
So I have been trying to track down an idle miss/stumble for a long time now... New o2's, ICM, coil, plugs, wires, valve lash, sea-foam, etc... I think the car has the original opti(90000 miles). I am tempted to replace it, but I really don't think it is the optical side of the unit. I do not have any of the usual "dead opti" symptoms and the car has had the miss for ~ 20,000 miles now. I am thinking it is just a worn cap/rotor. My question is is it worth it to JUST replace cap/rotor and not the whole opti? I was looking @ the MSD...

lol, good luck with the msd. i think there is still a hold on those units.
anyways, bite the bullet and buy a new unit. a new unit is a lot less trouble and a lot more reliable. jmho. theres a couple different people you can call and get a good deal on a new unit. call jason cromer or dal. dont know the numbers off hand, but do a quick search and you should find some results pretty quick.
