is the LS1 really that much beter then the Lt1 to sell my lt1 and get an ls1

They both got their high and low points. If your lt1 is running fine keep it.

Or get an LT4. Best of both worlds.

Don't waist the money on an LT4.... just do a couple of mods and it will be able to beat them or get a bunch and destroy them. Personally I like the Lt1 motor better but I like the way the 98 and up cars look

Nah, he could buy an SS or WS6 that had the LT4 stock.
