Worst day Ever

I have had the worst day of my life. I tried to change the tranny fluid, but when I added the fluid I added it to the oil. Finally figured it out after running the car for probably a minute with 10 quarts of fluid in the crankcase, and non in the tranny. Well I finally got everything fixed and car was running great. I am on my way home from a club at 2 45 when stupidity hits. I hit 135 and lose control, car hits the concrete dividers and spins about 4 times before coming to a stop. I managed to walk away with a couple cuts, but my car is totaled.
Anybody out there who likes to run the highway, take my word for it, it only takes a second to lose control. I walked away from a wreck that should have killed me. When I hit the concrete I was going 110. My own stupidity is all I have to blame. After working for 4 years to own the car of my dreams it is one big pile of rubbish.
I just want everybody to be careful. These cars are fast I think we lose respect for how fast they are, I know I did. It is so easy to lose control when you are going that fast, save it for the track.

I feel really bad for you. I've never taken mine over 117. I just can't bring myself to do it. I think, have I checked the tire pressure lately. Could there be a nail in it. What if my wheel falls off, and that some how does it for me. Good Luck with the Insurance company. If I were you I would say that a animal jumped out in front of you....

How do you manage to pour transmission fluid into the oil filler cap? Sorry if I'm insulting your intelligence, but wow.

I believe my insurance company will total the car. The engine is fine though, so I am keeping it since it only has 56k miles on it. Actually if the cars frame isn't to badly warped, and fixable, I might just keep the car and rebuild it.

yeah I didn't want to tell those stories, but hopefully somebody will read it and it will change there mind about running on the road. I just wanted to go because I finally got Z rated tires all around. Be safe guys.

How did u lose control? Were you weaving in and out of cars? That's too bad man. Most of us have done stupid stuff on the highway (ie - my and KreinMC's 170 mph blast down the interstate) and we have been lucky enough to drive home safely. Glad to hear you're ok and hopefully you will learn from this.

Damn.
How many is that this summer?
has to be over 6 cars totalled this summer just on this board.

Be careful guys.
I,m lucky, more horsepower makes me more respectful of the car, some it makes them more bold.
Gotta respect what they can do.

Glad to hear you're alright. I know the feeling of wrecking a car you love, it's happened twice to me (and after I put lots of money in it ). Then again, it's better than dying. Hope something works out, good luck with insurance (b*stards).
