won't idle starts then dies help please

Okay car was running perfect. Then I went to park the car at a baseball game on slope but nothing too bad. prolly less then on jack stands, nose towards the ground. But then after a hour it just starts and dies. U have to keep the foot on the pedal or else it dies. Keep like that for a while and it warms up its enough to put into drive and go. Drives fine just that it won't idle.

checked vacuum Good
Fuel pressure filter Good
Datamaster shows both banks 160 in open loop.

What is there to check?
I have no engine lights no codes with datamaster

Thanks

it needs replaced. when disconnected it runs in speed/density mode, which doesnt use the maf. so, when it's plugged in, it reverts back to MAF mode and since it can't function, it shuts down

buy a NEW one, stay away from 'yards because they're unreliable....or, now's a good time to get the 'performance MAF'....for about 100 cheaper than new oem

alright so that is definetly the problem then?? There is no codes, and I did try cleaning it, but still no luck. Cause out of all the things I tried that was the only thing that fixed the problem. So say the grantelli are better then the gm? Any other brands? And for the mean time can I leave it unplugged and will the car run fine and not blow anything up, untill the new one comes in?

Thank you very much

i'd get one from a friend to test. it's right on top and is easily removed...5 minutes and you'd have your test done.

i'd get stock. if you want better performance, just get the 'ends' and replace those.
