I think that the harness is different because I know 100% that the dash plug used for the scanner or Hpp3 etc.... is different from 94 to 95 even though they are both obd1, but some one like shoebox or Injuneer would know better than I would.

If you are just swapping a 1994 engine into a 1995 car, I can think of nothing that you have to do, wiring wise.

Except for the DLC as noted above and a TCC solenoid, they are pretty much identical.

Re: wiring harness (shoebox help?)

The 95 car was a V6, thats why im asking. Does the dash harness still need changed if I use the engine harness from a 95 V8 car with the 94 motor?? Or would I definatly have to use a 94 engine harness and change out the dash harness?

Then why not say that in the first post?!
You can use the 95 LT1 engine harness and computer.

The interior harness may have some slight differences, but probably not much you could not overcome.

yeah sorry bout that.

well I have a 94 PCM already, if I went ahead and used a 94 harness (assuming there are differences between the two years) would the dash harness still have the ease of using as you say it would if I used a 95 pcm and harness? What about painless? I know they are expensive but would it eliminate me having any problems period?? Im a complete dud with electronics. Thanks for the help and any more help in advance

Should be about the same. If Painless is expensive, then it's not painless. I'm not the source authority on these things, so you might need some other opinions.
