Does anyone know what the wires by the starter go to and which one is the knock sensor wire on a 97 SS......I think I had a wire when I put the motor back together that didn't get hooked up and I just grounded it thinking that it was a ground.....I know someone knows.....

 

There should be a light blue wire that goes to the knock sensor and a small black wire that grounds to the block on a little stud.
