well.......my hesitation problem seems to be from my wires...............tonite i looked under the hood in the dark, and i see a lot of flickering lights underneath my TB........so im guessing the plugs are arching near the optispark.

ive driven it quite a bit like this (out of necessity) and just wondering if ive possibly done any permanent damage to anything.

car seems to run perfect except for the hesitation.

btw, i have new plugs/wires on the way with my longtubes, so ill be changing them next weekend.

It's not likely that any damage would result from arcing wires. Current will go to ground whether it is across a spark plug gap or somewhere else. Just replace the bad wires and don't worry about it.
But that may or may not be the cause of your car's hesitation...

well i didnt mean from the electricity..........i meant from the car hesitating so badly...........it sputters and jerks during any light-moderate accelerating.............im worried if i drive it more i risk damaging something engine-wise.

well pretty much everything else has been changed

new plugs, new O2's, new MAP sensor, new opti, new waterpump, new fuel filter

the only thing i havent touched is the wires, and the EGR..............the wires are on their way, and while im in there, im gonna remove the EGR and AIR.

AIR is not causing your hesitation problems. EGR probably isn't either.

i know, they are just being removed to get rid of clutter and useless parts.

i really think the wires are the culprits, since everything else has been changed.
