wire compatibility question

Did a search, found only the same question but no answer. I'm ditching the taylor universal wire kit because I don't want to cut them and have them not work. I want to know if he MSD 8.5mm wire set for $79 will work with my made for you OTVC kit. I got the whole kit from thunder racing, but I'm sick of trying to mess with the wires. It's not working out. I did an experiment with a piece of one wire and it was a disaster.

Cool

I don't think they are long enough. From the sites I've seen with the over the top wires,I think they have to be a lot longer (msd). You might have to order maybe an upgrade taylor set if available.Hope this helps.

The custom fit MSD's (32143 or 32149) are too short. You can get the MSD 8.5mm superconductor "universal" kit and it will work though. You'll have to bore out the looms a little for the bigger wire and you still have to put the boots on the towards the opti.
