Wipers won't shut off

My wipers will not shut off. When in the off position they still act like they are on delay, but its like a minute in the delay time.

Anyone have this problem?

Are they still wiping after a minute, or are they not parking? If they're not parking, it's probably the motor. If they're still wiping, you need to remove the turn signal stem, and set it to off, and put it back in. Real easy to do.

They pause as if on delay, then 20 seconds or so later they seat themselves, then 40-60 secs later they wipe. The circle starts all over again.

I would say swap the motor. The wipers not reseating is a classic symptom of a motor going bad. The automatic wiping could have been a spurious signal in the bad motor.

No problem. I know there's more people out there who've had the problem They probably just didn't know what to do.

Of course, I'm not making a guarantee either. If you end up replacing the motor and need any help, give me an email or pm, as I recently did it.
