Windshield Wipers

Guys my windeshield wipers only work on the fastest speed. They dont go down all the way unless i fiddle with the control. Any help on what could be wrong?

If you can fiddle with the switch and they park, I would say your switch needs to be replaced.

Is there a lot of play in the switch or does it click through the different speeds?

Not sure if this could be your problem. But the wiper control board on mine is whats keeping my cars wipers from leaving the delay position when I shut them off. That could be your problem?
Although all My settings work fine. Just dont go down when I turn them off.

I found this post while doing a search for a solution to my wiper problem.

I have the exact same problem that sterlingsxe was having.

Sterlingsxe, did you ever get it fixed?

Does anyone else have any other suggestions that haven't been listed?

Thanks for the help,

Jerry

Yes i solved mine. It is the windshield wiper motor. It it located right next to the driver side window under the hood. A couple wrenches take off the arms. And go to the junkyard and pick one up i think its 50 bucks but if u need n e help on the install let me know
