The intake had a fabricated top put on a GM Ramjet base.The stock GM ramjet top was cut off and It was blasted somehow to make it look cast.

Actually you can make anything look as cast and the boys at Wilson are VERY GOOD at that. The top of Dudes intake is sheetmetal/billet aluminum that they shot peen to look like cast. Actually Ray Charles would be very good at telling you which ones are cast or not due to the feel more than anything, you can't tell as much by looks as you can by touch.

That intake will never run on any car(unless he sells it). I got tired of waiting and waiting for the engine to get done and putting up with my partners crap. So I cut off the partnership and did it on my own. No one will ever know what that pumpgas RACE engine would have done. Had 830lb over the nose valvetrain setup...yeh thats a street engine LMAO. Might as well up the compression and put race fuel in it. GOnna have to put valvesprings on it like a race engine. I wanted a streetcar...and I got one, my way. Thanks to Lloyd Elliot, Bret Bauer and a few others that made it happen.

The old man will die and the engine will rot in storage. Unless he finds someone with deep pockets or someone with a rolling chassis to DONATE to him it will never run. Even if he does, he is too gimped up to do it.
