As long as you get it balanced I am pretty sure it will. I know the LT1 bob weight is much lighter than a regular SBC.

Yes it will work, I run one in my car. I have often wondered why nobody else thought of using them. They are cheap, easy to find, and forged. That is a great combination

good deal..thats the only thing I don't have forged on my motor. I plan on freshening it up this summer and spaying the bottom end. This crank would be great to make this thing more bullet proof.

Just wondering is the ZZ4 forged crank a 4340 steel forging? If it is, its the deal of the century.
I think like the eagle cranks (4340) are cheap but since they are for an externaly balanced engine, the balancing costs are very expensive.
Any input?

Its not a 4340 but, it is a forged steel crank. New they are a little of $500 from GM (not much less than a Scat forged 4340). But, used you see them as little as $100.

Will this crank hold up to 375 rwhp N/A and 575 on the bottle?

I'm in need of a steel crank now, since I broke my cast stocker last week running N/A, and I want to spray.

I'm looking for a crank and h-beam rods, I already have forged pistons.

Holds up to 400 RWHP from me, and spins to 6900 very well. I also intend on squeezing the motor soon with a 150 shot. I trust it

The stock bottom will hold MORE than that.

The new Eagle cranks are internally balanced.... had to cut the external balance weight off my flywheel this time around.

It may for some people, but I just had one crack on me with 348 RWHP with a 2000 rpm clutch dump. It amazing how others can shoot N20 and have lots of HP on thiers, but mine wouldn't take it.

Now I may have had a lemon crank, but I sure broke the stocker.

I'm gonna check that line bore also.....hmmmm

There made from 1053 forged steel. I've been running mine since 1996. its seen a 275 shot a few times and to this day bearings always come out looking great.
Low cost but you can wrap up $700 plus in crank work tricking it out but its worth it.
