I know you can make an LT1 intake fit a TPI but never seen anyone install a TPI intake on an LT1. Why do it anyway? It probably flows less than the LT1 does and do it just for the looks? Come on...

Im sure you could make it fit, but you would loose power in the top end. My iroc with the tpi power seemed to cut out at about 4800, but it had a lot of torque up to 3000. Contact john at www.lt1intake.com He modifys the lt1 intake to fit on a early small block. Im sure he could modify a tpi intake to fit on a lt1. Anyway I would do it. Lt1 intake is byfar better than the tpi

Those runners are to long for our motors, it'll choke it on the top end.

If you drill the hell out of it, it isn't exactl bolt on to get an LT1 manifold on a TPI car. There was a car in GMHTP with a Accel Super Ram. A TPI would be waste of money cause the system you havefrom the factory is better.

stik6shift93, is right, stock TPIs coke bottle like hell at 4500rpms, so your going to have to get the plenum ported, a better base and better runners just to get near were a stock LT1 will flow.

I wouldn't do it.

Yeah my TPI looks cool and everything, but your LT1 intake is wayyy better and has alot more potential.

If I had a preference, I'd want a LT1. I beleive that will be my next car.

As an owner of two TPI cars I say thank God it doesn't fit. The only way I would have another TPI motor is If it were in a truck. That motor missed its calling. Low end torque was awsome but after 4500 you are left behind. In a truck you could haul the world. Even in my vette with mods it isnt a good as my Lt-1. They used to make an intake to use a superram like someone said but it was discontinued long ago. I had a Superram on the Vette and it was still no LT-1. Just dress-up the intake you already have with powder coating or covers. Oh yeah working on the lt-1 is a breeze compared to TPI.

If money is no object LOL, TPIS has a mini-ram that will fit and does even better than the LT1 manifold. Not bad looking either. You have to buy their fuel rail kit and regulator too, nothing else fits.

Actually, if money is no object get a Hogan sheet metal intake They make them for all cars including LT1s. Besides, the TPI intake might be too tall to fit under the windshield, plus the throttlebody would stick out through the hood.
