Will these valve covers fit a '97 Z28?
Will these valve covers fit a '97 Z28?
Proform Jeg's catalog #778-141-131. They are listed to fit an LT1, but the photo doesn't show the "notch" on the front of 1 like the stockers. This Proform set from Jeg's #778-141-107 looks correct, but I prefer the style of the first set.
My stock set was fine 'till APE pulled my motor and bent them all up and to replace stock is $$$.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Yeah, I just finished putting on the black crinkle set. Very nice covers. Stopped a bunch of oil leaks. Do a search on valve covers and you should find info on this. Basically you need to grind a bit off the back of the alternator to make them fit.

Janny,
How much is a "bit"? can you e-mail me a pic of your install job to slick1069@comcast.net?
Thanks
