gears and will they work

Nope.... Yeah I also thought about it but the carriers are different. I also have 2.73's but and to buy the gear kit made for the 3.08 and lower carrier. I was going to go that route that until I found out it wouldn't work. Hope I helped.

A 2.73 carrrier is a series 2 carrier. A 3.42 is a series 3 carrier... you need to specify when getting gears that you have a series 2 carrier.. they are thicker gears, which is cool.

So is ther no way or is it a bad idea to put in spacers to make the gears work in a series 2 carrier?
