Will my T-56 in my 96 fit up to an LS1?

Just wondering if there were any differences in the bell housing or otherwise, I'd like to build an LS1 for my next motor later.

if you can find an LS1 T56 bellhousing, then sure it will bolt up to it. that or an adapter plate
but no it wont go without either one of those

No, unless you get the Mcloud(sp?) bellhousing. The input shaft on the LSx t56s are longer then on the LTx t56s.
