Im new to the world of domestics, but on my old automatic 3000gt, the memory would reset when you disconnect the battery, and it would take awhile after reconnecting it for the computer to learn how to idle correct..

Will my automatic Formula have any of this if i disconnect my battery?

For the most part, yes. The computer has a baseline programmed into it, but after the batt is disconnected it must reprogram itself with your car's info. This is where the computer acounts for any mods you've installed.
