Will LTs banging against floorboard cause false knock?

Will LTs banging against floorboard cause false knock?
Went to to the track and was 2mph slower, but my LTs are banging the hell out of my floorboard. How much power could i lose to false knock?

Yes it can. I have pacesetter lt's with their y-pipe, and the part where they notched out a grove in the y-pipe for the kross-member was still hitting, causing false knock. What i did was wrapped the part that was hitting with some header wrap a few times around and i got a LT4 KM. That did the trick for me.

Well I already have and LT4 KM, but im not sure why im down 2mph. What kind of header wrap did you get it? Does regular auto parts carry header wrap? Mines banging the same spot as yours

I got mine at o'reileys and it was probably $30. I got 50 feet by 1 inch. But if they have wider like 2 or 3 inch get that, it works better.
