Will an LS1 10 bolt rear work in a 97 LT1 car?

My 10 bolt with 3.73 gears got toasted the other night at the track. I found a guy who has a stock 3.42 10 bolt near me out of a 01 SS. My car has traction control and so does the rear end the guy is selling. Will there be any issues with anything such as brakes, ABS, traction control. I am assuming (but not 100% yet) that I would be using my original axles and LT1 brakes. If anyone has done a LS1 rear to LT1 car swap let me know if there are any issues at all. I need to get another rear in this car asap.
Thanks

You'll just need to swap your backing plates and brakes off your current rear to the ls1 or you can upgrade to the ls1 rear brakes.. i think you'll only have to swap over your backing plates in that case... I'm sure others will chime in...

It will fit, butyou will need a set of ls1 rotors. Also, you will not have parking brake

well he can keep the lt1 brakes and put them on the ls1 axle and then retain the e brake with no other fitment problems...

Alright thanks guys now that I think about it the caliper brackets are just bolted on so I dont see why I cant just bolt mine right onto the new rear end.
Hopefully it works like that.
Anymore input is appreciated.
Thanks

They will bolt on, but you will have to slide the axles out in order to swap them. Pretty straight forward though.
