Will this erase my custom PCM tune?

If I disconnect my battery for a period of time, or if I disconnect the PCM for a period of time, will that erase the PCM tune that I uploaded? I know that you can "clear" the PCM of trouble codes and such if you do one of those things, but will I have to re-program my PCM afterwords?

I don't believe so. It will reset to the current tune that you have. Bryan at PCMforless told me I could reset the PCM by disconnecting the battery and the tuning would be the same.

The PCM has both volatile and non-volatile memory. The only things in volatile memory are the long term fuel corrections, the stored trouble codes and the learned IAC motor position. Those are the only things you clear when you disconnect the power. The "tuning" program is in non-volatile memory.
