Will A Dirty MAF...

Read too many GPS to the PCM (less air is moving through than reported by MAF)or will it read too few GPS to the PCM(more air is moving through than reported by MAF)?

Any ideas?
Please justify your reasoning...

Re: Will A Dirty MAF...

Dirt and grime would act as an insulator, causing the MAF to read less airflow then is actually present.

Remember, electrical contact cleaner ONLY. No cheating with carb cleaner...
