I did a search and didn't find anything...

I just got the EGR SES light and my car has had a "ticking" noise that I haven't been able to locate. I've changed my header gaskets, twice, and checked where the y-pipe connects to the headers.

Could the a bad EGR cause a "ticking" noise???

Did you check the EGR hose that comes off the back of the intake manifold and goes to your passenger side header.

Mine wasn't sealing good at my headers and caused a ticking sound/exhaust leak.
