Will a 58mm TB help my current mods?

Is a 58mm TB worth anything to me with my current mods? I will be doing a cam down the road but I want to make sure if I install that large of a TB now it first, won't hurt anything and second, will help me out. I found a nice AS&M TB so was considering the purchase.

P.S. What will I have to do to match this up to a stock intake excepting 48mm stock TB? Just port the intake?

Thanks guys

Adam

Generally not worth a thing unless you have a big cam or heads

Well I'll be going 230/236 but stock heads for a while in the near future.

Not really a big cam so to speak.

Unless your getting a really good deal on the 58mm go with a 52mm. Or just get your heads done down the road and you'll love the 58mm.
