Hey guys i plan on putting in a 224/230 xe cam and 1.6 roller rockers. Right now i have a 1995 formula 6 speed with shortie headers, 3" catback, 3.73's, ram air. right now i run 13.4 at almost 106 mph with a 2.0-2.1 60 foot time. will adding the cam and rockers get me into the 12's? if so what do you guys think i have a chance of running?

I think so. The hotcam kit got me from a 13.35 to a 12.85 and that cam is "bigger" than the hotcam. Im not sure though, hopefully someone with that cam could help you out.

Put a tire on there and get your 60 down a couple tenths and you'll be able to do high high 12s right now. That cam should easily put you in the 12s

 

yep, alot off people have went 12's with a hotcam

 

I am running the same cam w/114 lsa and 1.6rrs and stock ported heads, long tubes and true duals.

Going easy on the launch, 1.8 60ft 8.2 1/8 12.7 @ 110mph.

M6 342 gears and ET streets 26x11.5 on 15"rims

Theres more lots more in it just babying the stock rear end.

Oh and it sounds killer!!!

New motor in the works.... LT1 396.... anyone want to help with cam selection?
