Wierd idle problem...

I got the stroker together and the idle doesnt seem to want to come down. Right now it idles between 1500-2000 rpms and my program has it set for 1000. The TB blades are completely closed...anyone have any ideas besides a lazy IAC, anyway to test it?

it obviously sounds like you have a vacuum leak! spray some starter fluid around possible leak areas and listen for change in idle rpm's.

if the butterflys are basically closed and your idleing at 1500-2000 then its getting air somewhere else..... check the vacuum
