all right guys im planning on running a LT4 hotcam kit, with ported heads, and ahving my manifold ported to whatever size tb i get. Also my list of upgrades include : Intake, headers, full exhaust, fan switches, 160* stat, and after i get the cam/heads installed im going to have it tuned at RPm so my questions to you... what size injectors and what size TB should i get to run on this setup?

thats what i was thinking, and going with a 52mm tb... is 58mm going to be better, the same or worse for my setup i have and is there another cam that would be a good choice?

 

I've used the hotcam before and it's a nice overall cam. The 30# injectors should be fine and a 52mm tb is good, you don't even need to port the intake for it, might want to port match the intake to the heads, though.

 

Doesn't seem like you'd see any significant gains by going bigger with the TB or injectors with a small cam and ported LT1s. I'd have it dynoed with the stockers and see if it compares with others who have gone bigger before going bigger. JMHO

 

Your stock injectors should actually be plenty for that application.

A 52mm is good for about 6rwhp.

 

so waht your saying my stock setup is going to be fine for this setup, and the money should be spent somewhere else?

 

You can take the 6rwhp for what its worth with keepign in mind its the summation of parts.

The stock injectors are totally fine unless they have alot of miles on them.
