Why is spring a compressed?
Why is spring a compressed?
So here is whats up. ive got a rebuilt lt1 bored 30 over and its got a gm cam with .492 lift and jegs s/a 1.5 ratio roller rockers, and i just recently found out after running (idle) for a little while that a lifter had locked up. so i bought new summit lifters and installed it all and put everything back togeather and started it up.... here is what happens i start it and roller rocker dosent move and then i turn it off and there is a bent pushrod and it looks like the spring is compressed down(i am running springs that must of been upgraded from stock at one point before i bought it because thats what the machine shop told me) so my question is what is going on there and why dose it seem that way?
