The other day i raced a 95 z28 and the first race when went approx. an 1/8, i killed him off the line and beat him by about 3-4 cars then we decided to go 1/4 from a 10 mph rolling start. he jumped the gun but i quick ly passed him but when we hit about 90-95 he came back and passed me what gives?

We have the same rear gears and both have a4's. The only mod he has that i dont is a power programmer (mine hasn't arrived yet). I put mid grade gas in sould this slow my car at higher rpm's or is there something else i dont know about?

 

I think the mid grade gas is pulling your timing at higher RPM's causing your engine to not perform as well. Our manual strictly says premium gas.
