Why is hot air blowing on my leg while the car is moving?
Why is hot air blowing on my leg while the car is moving?
I can feel hot air from the engine bay blowing on my right leg, only while the car is moving (most noticeable at 35+mph). It is coming from right beside/underneath the diagnostics port...
Any idea why it's doing that?

not sure if this helps but.
When my thing it turned to heat and the a/c is off i can feel hot air blowing on my leg/feet to. I'm guessing it leaks through
However i never notice heat when its turned all the way to the blue

Usually headers heat up the blower box under the hood. The air flowing through it as you drive brings the hot air right inside, and the default area when the HVAC is off is the floor vents.
I have ceramic coated headers and my box still heats up. Next step for me is a heat reflective wrap on the header side of the blower box. Then a taller hood....

i have the problem too...but my default is defrost. which sucks bad because i always have to turn on the defrost for a few seconds to get out all the moist air.
but yeah, it's normal. if you really have a problem with it...remove the ac system. or just the heater core.
