Why don't head porters use LT4 valves on their heads?

Is there any reason to this? Does gm not make them anymore?

Theres nothing that really sets LT4 valves aside from the rest. There just 2 inch int and 1.55 exh. U can get about any size u want from ferrea. So a 2" LT4 valve isnt any better than 2" ferrea or manly.

But they are sodium filled lightweight valves

Thats why I didn't go bigger on my valves.
I didn't want to give them up

Exactly why I'm asking this, according to that site that compares the LT1's to LT4's the LT4 valves only weight 85 grams. My guess is they are either too weak or too expensive.

There are other aftermarket options out there that are equal or better in quality and are less expensive. I'm running a lightweight Ferra valve in my heads... they are bigger than LT4, longer then the LT4, and cost me less than the LT4
