Just got done doing my cam install and computer tuning from PCMforless. I got on the car for the first time yesterday and I noticed right when I hit 5,000 rpms the oil pressure dropped slightly (maybe 3-7psi) and then at around 6,000 rpm shot back up to normal all the way to 6,400 where the tranny shifts. Is the sending unit going bad or is my motor going bye bye? Oil pressure is completely normal every other rpm range and at idle except between 5k-6k it drops slightly. Thanks!

Mine drops in second gear pulls in the mid RPM range down to 20psi, then comes back up. Nobody here seems to know what is wrong, but some others have the same thing happen. I wouldn't worry about it. If it runs good, doesn't knock, or make any odd noises I would forgedaboutit!!
