why does my graph have a loop in it?
why does my graph have a loop in it?
Let me know what you think, I'm trying to fix the crazy loop in the graph. It revs to about 5k then goes down to about 4600 and back up strong again. This is a fresh rebuild, and the first tune from madz28 (two thumbs up for Ion!). It has a 3k stall, heads/cam, 30lb svo's....

It is happening at about 5k rpms though..? After my car dyno'd I watched about 6 other auto cars and none of theirs did that.
Is my converter not locking up properly?

Do you have LT1 Edit, or did he tune the PCM and ship it to you? If you have LT1 Edit, you could look at the TCC apply settings to see what the lock-up characteristics are at WOT in 3rd and 4th gear.
If he shipped the PCM to you already done, he'd have to look at it.

Re: why does my graph have a loop in it?
Stock 3rd gear lockup point is 95 MPH and I didn't change that on this particular tune. If I had to guess, it's a dyno glitch (unless you have 2 graphs from 2 different runs with the exact same problem) or this is just how this particular dyno reacted to his converter lockup.
Re: why does my graph have a loop in it?
what stall/converter was it? If you remember what rpm and mph was it. This is a 3k stall and it is acting up at 5k rpm. I'm not sure what mph this was happening at, unfortunatly, the computer didn't show that.
