why is 95 opti better

why is 95 opti better

i dont understand why the 95 opti is better than the 94 opti. can some one explain why.

They include vacuum lines which suck the moisture out. Whether it's "better" is debatable. It may help prevent gradual wear but if the water pump dumps water on the opti it'll blow up just the same as a 93-94 opti.

so if i was to replace my opti other than that there would be any difference? No power gains?

No gains at all. Frankly, there's almost nothing you can do to your ignition system to make gains. Focus on induction and exhaust first. An aftermarket ignition isn't really needed until your dealing with supercharging or N20.

there is no performance gain from going to a vented opti.. it just has a vent.. that the only difference. a vent will only prolong its life by flushing out water and water vapor if the opti ever gets wet.

i was just asking because im going to replace mine soon and i wanted to know would keeping the 94 opti would be the same as going to the 95 vented.

you can't just replace the opti with a 95+ one, there are quite a few other things that need to be replaced such as wiring harness, vacuum lines, cam dowel, etc.

is there a guide or a website that can help me replace my old 94 opti with a new 94 opti? all the ones i see is for the vented opti.

same thing, just disregard plugging in the vent tubes.
