Pick the guy with the lowest ET. Hmm, never known a cam/head package to cut a low 60' time or setup a car to run good times. Now if you could convince Joe O. to pick a cam, port the heads, setup the car and drive it, I bet you'd have a low ET machine.

Mods in sig. Went 12.57@110 on street tires (about a half throttle launch).

 

Running LE2 heads and Comp 503. Ran a best 12.42@109 @4400lbs. Still have the LE2 cam sitting in the closet.

This is true, He spent 45 mins with me last night discussing my goals and expectations very easy to talk to.. He recommend the LE2 Package for a stock internal short block.

 

You dont want to go that big with the cam.... the LE2 is where most guys need to be with a cam.

the LE2 cam is a good powerful cam and fun for a daily driver. i'd recommend it.

 

So a gm 874 is too big? Should i just ahve lloyd build me one or is that too hard?

 

When you purchase the LE2 kit or LE3 kit it will come with a cam. Leave it that way because the cam will work best with those heads.

-58mm TB
-No cats
-B&B exhaust
-Delteq
-6speed
-4.10 gears

I know there are always going to be variables in track times and who actually drives the car. In a race you can either beat the car or the driver.

I just plan on going fast...doesnt everybody? I dont know how else to state what I am looking for.

I want to do a h/c along with other misc parts such as water pump, rr's, etc.

I just also wanted to hear what their personal experiences with the setup are/were.

 

Mods in sig...
Went to a 1/4 track before BFGs, SBC and STB and couldn't get traction for nothing. Best time was a 13.2 @ 113 mph on a 2.4 60ft. spinning from 1st- 3rd gear.
