who sells 3/8" diameter 7.2" pushrods?!?!
I was looking all through my summit magazine and can only find 5/16 7.2" pushrods. Will the 5/16 be strong enough for use with the 306 cc cam I just bought or should I try my hardest to find the 3/8? Also are those the correct length I need for a stock deck set of heads? The stock pushrods in there are only 10K miles old , will they be just fine? Are stock specs the 5/16 7.2"??? Thanks---
EDIT: I just found some comp cams 3/8, but it doesnt say the length, it just says "standard small block chevy".....uhhhh.....

Yes, the PR needs to be heat treated to withstand contact with the guide plate, but in the end, I want the stiffest PR. The one with the least flex. No, not stating the rods are good OR bad.

Re: who sells 3/8" diameter 7.2" pushrods?!?!
Pushrods aren't always the most glamourous parts on a motor, but they sure can make a big difference. "cheap" pushrods I have found are that way for a reason, one reason why at minimum I suggest the Comp Hi-Tech 5/16 pushrods.
BTW if you want a 7.200" long 3/8 PR check out Smith Brothers or Manton, Comps 3/8 PR's only go as short as 7.500"

Thanks guys, I just bought the Trick Flow 7.2" 5/16th ones off the guy that posted in this thread. I am sure they will be good enough, I am not going too radical with the engine. I appreciate it---
