Question Who has the meanest sounding LT1

LT1 are known for sounding awesome, I have heard plenty big cam LS1s. How about the LT1s, who here thinks they have the best sounding LT1? krienMc's car sounded wicked as hell with the 306, by far one of the better ones I have heard. I cant wait to see Speedmisers car provided it doesnt rain tonight. 96-6speeds car sounds good to, if it was cut at like 110 I'm sure it would sound mean as hell . Just messing with you Ryan.

I've just got SLP headers and the Loudmouth and it sounds sweet but i went to a dyno day last weekend and there was a guy there that had 94 TA with a huge cam(forget what but thinkin 306 or bigger). He had SLP headers with a 3in y pipe to a Borla muffler. That's it!!! Thing was soooooooo loud. Was intense hearing it at 6800 RPM. Nasty!!!!!

I think mine sounds pretty mean....So mean that the average Mustang driver does not even look at me or try to make eye contact when I am driving to work (no matter how I try to entice them) I guess the sound of an open borla and the supercharger whine scares em (my bypass valve is currently vented to atomosphere and is also noisy but I dont think its a cool noisy but mabee that scares em off too.) I actually think the car sounds meaner that it actually is I dont have a sound clip but you can check the sig to see what I have done.

Thx,
Claude

My car sounds like kmook's on the upper rpm's (screaming like a ****) and sounds like a big block at idle w/ a really big lope. xe230/236 is the cam I'm using.

I think its at 1000rpm. No idea when its going to start to make power on my engine I have to get it to the dyno, and I have a Precision 3600 stall, not a vigilante.

Here is the mod list, probably left something off.
Hyptertech 160 thermostat
Meziere electric water pump
Hooker Long Tube Headers coated by Jet-hot
SLP cold air intake
Mufflex 3" into 4" Y-pipe

Precision 3200 stall converter
OBDI Conversion with powertuning by PCMforless
LT4 knock module
Ported MAF
K&N Airfilters
Fan switch over-ride
Accel Xtreme9000 plug wires
NGK TR6 spark plugs
CC306 cam
Comp Pro Mag S/A 1.6 rockers
Crane 10308 springs
Comp Hi-tek pushrods
AFR hydra-rev kit
GM extreme duty timing set
Nitrous works 75-175 shot
Bottle heater, and Nitrous works purge
Trans-Go shift kit
B&M supercooler
B&M deep pan
Racetronix fuel pump system.
BMR LCA's
BMR LCA drop brackets
Spohn torque arm.
