Maybe not - but, how do you enjoy a car like that? I know down the road, it pays off to future generations - but how could someone have such self control?

LouG, sounds like you got quite the deal.
Anyway, I agree with what a lot of you are saying. The more you drive it, the more fun you have and the better the investment was in my opinion. I am buying the car for ME to have fun, not just to wash it and stare at it for years. I have a friend like that at school who has a salvaged Camaro SS and barely even drives it...ever. I mean the thing is salvaged, and he acts like it is a one-off high $$$ car. I dunno, whatever makes people happy I say they go for it but I am much more of a "just drive it" kind of a guy!

Low mileage cars are nice but I say drive it.We're not taking them with us when we are 6 feet under. If all I wanted to do is look at a car I can buy a nice poster for a lot less money.

The guy with the grand sport would get a nice amount for it now ...
I kid I used to work with bought a Grand Sport with 70K miles on it, in fair condition, some cracks in the paint and such ... He paid, I think, around $17,000 for it. So he could get a nice penny for his with low miles like that. Then again, around here these kind of cars always sell high for some reason? You still cant touch an LT1 car for under $5,000 inless it is wrecked up or something. LS1's the cheapest Ive seen around here are maybe like $9,000.
