94 z28 stock bottom end, 58mm edelbrock throttle body, bbk header, lt4 hot cam kit. I need this thing tuned, do I send the computer out or are there people that program them on the vehicle?

A speed shop could do it assuming they can work on an LT1 PCM. Otherwise, you could do a mail-order tune where the tuner sends you a PCM with the requested tune on it and you send them your old PCM as the core. Its a ten minute job in taking the old PCM out and putting the new one in.

If you want the most out of your tune it'd be a good idea to get a dyno tune. Hell LPE isn't that far from you. Have you contacted them?

Can you really say that before you've gotten it on a dyno or taken it to the track? Just sayin'...
