Re: Who all has 100k+ on the clock????
181,000 with stock everything, including the opti
Some other people have 180K too, and I remember someone else having 250,000 with a stock opti. These motors last, they don't crap out like a lot of people think. It kind of is sad when people say they want to rebuild a perfectly healthy motor, just because it has 100,000 on it. I say, if you are not doing any mods, don't rebuild until you have to. Don't fix it if it ain't broken.

Re: Who all has 100k+ on the clock????
102,000 miles in a 95 z A4--->M6 conversion with intake, 3 in. catback, 4.10's, a tune from Ion at madz28, and all the free mods. Haven't had it at the track but I bought it with 78,000 miles and it still pulls just as strong now as it did when I bought it. The only major problem I've had is a broken timing chain. Might consider upgrading the timing chain to avoid the risk of breaking the stock junker.
Re: Who all has 100k+ on the clock????
ya, mine just turned over to 98k........pulls harder than when i bought it, perfectly healthy sounding a feeling, however a compresion test will tell the truth in a couple weeks.
and yes i am on stock everything as well.......well almost stock LOL (except a new water pump, just because).......and i have NO plans of doing a rebuild anytime soon..........i agree with MYshibbyZ28. Dont fix it if it ain't broke.
oh yes and i do agree, these motors can LAST if u take care of them, just wondering what luck other people have had..........i have a friend that is just the same except with 270k on a 95z and last time i raced him, he pulled me like a raped ape (that was before LT's, ORY, tune, and some other stuff)....but he has all that and a cam and RR's.......so i still think hes got me......

Re: Who all has 100k+ on the clock????
196,000, stock bottom end and stock opti...
Unfortunately stock everything else as well
Aside from my e-cutout.
That's fine though, I got in trouble for street racing so I think I'm going to forget about engine mods and go for suspension to compete in auto-cross.

Re: Who all has 100k+ on the clock????
umm, 156k miles
i put 25k on in one year, and they were hard miles, with about 10k with N20
best time is a 13.4 @ 106 with a cutout, opened stock airbox and msd 6al.
Then I blew a head gasket, and to my suprise when the heads came off the stiching in the cylinder walls was still very visable with no carbon anywhere. But due to a bad aftermarket RR that broke at the roller tip it spun a bearing after the aluminum shavings got into the oil.

Re: Who all has 100k+ on the clock????
161k All original internals, the valve covers have not come off yet!!! Do have a dynaspark dist. and new water pump though. Only bolt on mods, CAI Random tech cat, flowmaster 80 series, mallory 6al, tb airfoil, and 1le elbow.
Re: Who all has 100k+ on the clock????
the 94 6 spd in the sig has 208,000 but now is a 355/head/cam car
the 94 auto has 135,000...muffler/intake/no times but quick for an auto with 2.73s
i also have a 96 trans am with 180,000...it has 4.10s/muffler/tune/...id put this up against most stock to bolt on cars...one true factory freak
