Whistling noise

Whistling noise

When the engine is started it will whistle for 2-3 minutes and stop. Does anyone have an idea what the whistling noise is?

Sounds like it is your air pump. It only runs for a few minutes after startup then stuts off. It is to provide air for the cats until the engine goes closed loop.

To test it you can unplug the electricial plug to it and see what happens when you start it

Be warned if you do the computer may throw a warning light / code
